It does not affect the level of isolation. On both Basic and Dedicated the address is tied to one order and is not issued to other clients during the rental. The difference between the plans is where the address comes from, its channel headroom and the term conditions.

Pick a plan, a location, the HTTP protocol and the number of addresses — the total recalculates immediately, before you place the order.

The proxy works through a fixed IPv4 address for the whole rental period. That suits services and programs that need a stable network configuration between sessions.

A static IP does not change from request to request, so it is easier to use in a browser, application, script or automation system: the settings are entered once.

One service covers different kinds of software. HTTP suits most web work; SOCKS5 suits applications that need more universal traffic forwarding.

The protocol is chosen at checkout with no surcharge. Its availability and port are visible in the parameters of the purchased proxy in your account.

A large package is not required: buy one HTTP proxy, verify the connection, and add addresses as the project grows.

An HTTP proxy connects to programs, scripts and internal systems that support proxy operation.

For projects with regular requests, account for the target site’s performance, your software’s limits and acceptable load — the bottleneck is more often not the proxy.

Your program sends the request to the proxy rather than directly. The proxy server opens a connection to the target site and returns the response to you. The target resource sees the proxy server’s IP, not the address you connected to the proxy from.

To reach HTTPS resources an HTTP proxy uses the CONNECT method: it creates a network tunnel between your program and the target server.

The contents of the HTTPS connection stay encrypted between the client and the site — the proxy passes them through without reading them. So the label "HTTP proxy" does not mean it can only be used with unencrypted HTTP pages, and there is no separate "HTTPS proxy" to buy.

HTTP proxies are usually simpler to configure for standard requests to sites and HTTP APIs: fields for address, port, login and password exist almost everywhere.

HTTPS is not a separate proxy type. In most programs HTTPS sites open through an HTTP proxy using a CONNECT tunnel, and when configured correctly secure sites work through an HTTP proxy without restriction.

SOCKS5 operates at a lower network level and is not limited to web requests: it forwards the whole TCP connection. That helps programs working with traffic other than HTTP.

SOCKS5 is available on the same plans and the same addresses — the protocol is chosen at checkout.

Choose HTTP when your program explicitly supports HTTP proxies and the task involves sites, web services or HTTP APIs. That covers most cases.

SOCKS5 is worth considering when:

Protocol support on its own does not determine proxy quality. IP stability, location, isolation, plan terms and compatibility with the service you use matter just as much.

If one proxy serves several independent processes at once, those processes will all be associated with one IP — to the target site they are a single source.

To separate projects, profiles or working environments, use different proxy addresses: one per process that has to stay independent.

The location should match the task: checking a regional site version needs an IP in that country, not "some foreign one".

The further the proxy server is from you and from the target site, the higher the connection latency can be. Available countries are in the list above.

Before buying, check:

The usual objection is worth answering directly: on both plans on sale the address is tied to one order and is not issued to other clients during the rental. No IP is used by two clients at once, on Basic or on Dedicated.

So paying more for Dedicated makes sense for where the address comes from, its channel headroom and the ability to renew the same IP beyond a month — but not for "more privacy". For test and non-critical work the entry plan is enough.

What the service does not know: how the address was used before it entered the catalog. An IP’s history outside your rental is unknown to us.

An HTTP proxy connects through the system network settings, the browser’s own options, or a dedicated extension — depending on the browser.

Before you start, check your current IP with an independent lookup service: that is the control value you will compare against after connecting.

Find the Proxy, Network, Connection or Advanced Settings section, select HTTP as the connection type and enter the issued parameters.

Copy the values in full: a stray space at the start or end of a line is the most common reason a proxy appears "not to work".

In software projects the proxy parameters are passed to the HTTP client or the request library. The exact syntax depends on the language, the library and the authentication method.
